 Getting a Ireland Student Visa

Before initiating the application process for an Irish visa, it is essential to determine if your nationality falls within the category of the 70+ countries exempted from student visa requirements. If your nationality is exempt, you may not be obliged to apply for a student visa. However, upon arrival in Ireland, you will still need to present other required documents.
On the other hand, if your intended course of study extends beyond 90 days, obtaining a Long Stay Visa, commonly known as a 'D' visa, is necessary. The application can be completed through Ireland's AVATS Online Facility. Supporting documents, such as an application letter and proof of enrollment, will be required. Subsequently, it is mandatory to register with the Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB) upon arrival.
