When considering studying in the United States, most students will need to apply for an F-1 student visa. This visa category is specifically designated for students who plan to attend a college, university, or English language institute in the US.
Once you have received acceptance from an accredited US institution, you will need to register with the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and pay the required I-901 fee.
